I used katakana to describe the sound of winding blowing "byuu byuu" (onomatopoeia). By using katakana, I hope that it would create the feeling of coldness of December for the readers by hearing the sound.

For my second haiku, I used another onomatopoeia (ゴロゴロ) to create a feeling of laziness under the hot summer sun. On a hot and humid summer day, there is nothing better to do than just lying around. =)

Wow, I really love your katakana literary works, they are so creative! They convey so much information and feeling to your audience in such a small space, great job! I particularly like how you used other writing forms to draw attention to the katakana. I think your use of kanji and hiragana work to give the katakana even more force.

for me the ゴロゴロ is much like a loud sound when men drink!

I loved your second one so much,
I'm thinking of posting it up on my room.
